Mike runs a good camp. He knows his hunting grounds and what to expect from them. Our group was 3 of 6 on deer taken, all 8-pts around 110-125. I saw a 140-class deer at dark but light ran out before I could get a shot. Two other guys had shots and missed on bigger bucks. I'll likely re-book for 2015 or 2016. I suggest Mike consider a 125 or better policy on his ranch so next year's inventory can continue to grow. All three deer taken during my trip were nice bucks would would have been great bucks next season.

Mostly high blue skies, clear to partly cloudy, with warmer than avg. temps. Rained just once during the night and stopped at dawn. What else do you expect in early Nov. with our new climate?
