Jeff runs a great operation with excellent quality property. I did not go home with a deer but that is 100% my fault, they put me on what would be the biggest buck of my life and I messed up TWICE! As a big guy (6'4, 350) I was initially worried about using treestands that would accomodate my size, but I was pleasantly surprised and had a comfortable sturdy stand on every sit. Jeff fed us well every day, and we had very comfortable accommodations. Hickory Creek has some great properties with some monster deer, the guides know these properties well. If you come to camp with a good attitude and listen to your guides you will not be disappointed. We had unseasonably warm temperatures in the afternoons and still saw deer. It was 65 degrees one night and I still saw 6 bucks that evening! I cant wait to come back and redeem myself on one of these Kansas monsters!
