This was the third time I've hunted with Kevin. I've booked with him again for this 2014 fall archery season. I didn't take a bear this year but I did have a sow with two yearling cubs come to the bait I was hunting. This sow was huge, Kevin had seen her while he was baiting the site. He said she was the biggest black bear he'd seen in New Brunswick. I think she was between 500 lb. & 600 lb.. I discovered her cubs were not considered cubs, they were almost two years old. So, I could have taken her. I'm glad I didn't, I was told a boar would have killed them.
