This was my 1st bear hunt and we really got lucky in finding a great guide service. Gordy made sure we were taken care of throughout the entire trip & hunt. Food & lodging were very good; lodge is off the beaten path which I really liked. There were lots of places to hunt so if we weren't getting hits in one area there was always somewhere else to try. The guys handling the hounds; MJ & Bubba, where awesome. Don't let their age fool you, they are very experienced & great at what they do! Animal care was great, we had a local butcher prepare the hides, custom cut & vacuum pack all of the meat for a very reasonable price. My friend & I both had successful hunts but would have enjoyed the trip either way. Overall 3 Rivers Guide Service definitely works hard to make your trip a good one. I would definitely book a trip with Gordon again.
