Operations are conducted out of the home of the owner Yvon Champagne. House has room to sleep 12 clients. Large TV/game room with pool table for hunter guests. All meals prepared by Yvon's wife Ginette. Good home cooked meals like my mother used to make (3/day) served at the family dining table. Desserts often topped with maple syrup from Yvon's maple syrup operation.
Hunting was only about 10 miles away, access to bait sites by truck then ATV. Hunting is from climbing tree stands or Amerstep ground blinds - at hunter's option. Passed up large female with 2 yearlings day 1, shot medium size bear on second day. Has great infrastructure to handle game - sheltered weigh station& cleaning/gutting bench, freezer for meat & hides.
Bait sites all had trail cameras, the frequency of game visits and size of bears was available for all to see. Good size bears at most sites. I have hunted at many other bear outfitters, I will be returning again. This is a first class operation.
