We contacted the outfitter (Sam) to discuss the hunt before we booked, and to get references and an explanation for the previous poor review on this site. After the discussion and references, we booked. Was our first true outfitted/guided hunt and it exceeded our expectations. Sam and his two guides (his son being one of them) were extremely easy to work with and put everyone on deer. Everyone at camp had chances at quality bucks and multiple were successful. I actually missed a chip shot at a nice buck, and my brother killed a very nice (150") buck and a nice turkey as a bonus. The food and lodging are terrific. We are going back this year(2014).
