This is a very nice lodge and good people. Our group of 3 just did not see very many animals and when we did there were no legitimate chance for a shot. They hunted several different areas around Chama. I had the impression that only a few guides were bow hunters. My buddy's said their guides wanted to glass a lot over long distances which never paid off. A little more effort on known elk areas may have produced a better hunt than moving around every day.
