I want to share my experience with Whitetail Outfitters of Ohio. I paid for a fully guided hunt with lodging and meals. I received a call from Ty McCombs on Saturday October 24, 2015. He asked if I would mind staying somewhere else other then at his lodge as he had overbooked and did not have any available space. He said "He would refund some of my money" Thinking he was a person of his word I agreed and found a hotel in Newark. I have yet to receive any money and Ty has agreed to owning me $809.75 but has yet to make any form of payment or even a partial attempt to pay. On top of the hotel I had all my meals I paid for myself and I had to rent a vehicle to travel to and from his house from my hotel an half hour away. I was raised that a mans word was his honor and I can attest in my option that Ty's word is not very reputable. I would never use this outfitter again and would not suggest it to anyone I was personally acquainted with. If you do some research on the better business bureau this outfitter is rated as a (F). I did not do my research and have probably lost my money so if I can save someone else from making the same mistake I hope. IF you do research you will find he has conned other people out of their money as well.
