I did a alligator hunt with Broderick in August 2016 outside of Tallahassee. It was a fantastic experience that I will forever remember and hopefully I will be able to repeat in the future.
This was a night hunt where you roam the lake on an airboat spotlighting for gator eyes. Once a good one is spotted you try to sneak up on it before it submerges. If you are targeting a big gator (8' and above) this is not easy and is far from a canned hunt. We hunted for 11 hours the first night and I missed a couple of shots and then went out the next night and I got one after 4 hours (8'3" and missing 6" of tail).
Broderick was very professional, accommodating, very experienced and a heck of a nice guy. He has a great set up and does everything to make you feel comfortable, safe and have a great experience. Broderick is also a nuisance trapper so we were able to go on a nuisance call with him and help remove a gator from a pond.
I would recommend anyone looking for a gator hunt to check his website (www.vaughangators.com) and give Broderick a call. These are all public hunts done at night during the Florida gator season.

Hot and humid. There was a few storms and rain but it did not affect the hunt at all.
