There was nothing about this hunt that was not outstanding. Steven Ward knows how to run an elk camp! We had the best food, the best accommodations, and great guides. If elk hunting can get more exciting I have never seen or heard of it. The elk I ended up shooting was not the biggest one taken in camp or the biggest one I was in bow range of. However, the all out monster bull elk brawl that Steven Ward lead me right into the middle of was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced hunting! There were trees and antlers breaking within a few yards of us. The bull I shot was an old past mature warrior that will forever remind me of this awesome hunt!!!
