My son who is from Colorado gave me a trip to hunt whitetail in Kansas for my 70th birthday. (Nice son!). We have bowhunted all our lives and have harvested many deer. He did all the research and decided that SEK outfitters/Rod Sullins was a good choice for our first time hunting trip with an outfitter. Boy, did he make a right choice! First off it is a quality operation. If you want to come to a place where a guy knows his stuff, this is the place. You have a choice of treestands (approx. 50) and many ladderstands and ground blinds to hunt from. In the 6 days we hunted, I know I saw over 100 deer and that were within 50 yds of me. I always saw more bucks than does and several 150-160 class bucks. I saw 15 bucks one day all different and all 20-50yds in distance. My son and I did not harvest a quality deer but thats a different story. Rod Sullins said he would put us in the right spot (wind direction) which he did. He said "All you have to do is make the shot". Even without harvesting a deer, it was an experience of a lifetime.
