From the beginning... When you first pull into the lodge you notice the beautiful location as it sits on top of a hill over looking miles of farm land. You are promptly greeted by the guides at your truck and they help you unload all of your gear and bring it to your room in the lodge. The lodge is very warm and welcoming, and there is always the smell of fresh homemade food cooking in the kitchen. The bedrooms are very nice, with quiet comfortable beds to sleep in and new high end bathroom facilities. You are served a huge dinner every night of food made from scratch including steaks,ribs, pasta and much more. Every evening you can enjoy a drink at the bar or by the fire and talk hunting stories and game plan for the next hunt. Breakfast is served every morning from homemade breakfast burritos to french toast or cereal if you dont want a large meal. Lunch is packed for each hunter every day if you choose to hunt all day. You can come back to the lodge and enjoy venison chili or some hot meal the cook has made. The property is HUGE, and covered in lush foodplots. There is no shortage of deer/turkey and every hunt you will have encounters with both. They are very much trophy buck minded and its proven in their management style. Big comfy treestands and groundblinds are strategically located throughout their 8000 acres and easy to hunt based on different wind directions. The stands are easy to get to and the guides will even walk you in if needed to insure a safe and easy entry to the location. I was lucky enough to kill on the last day, will another hunter killed a great deer mid week. We had hunters all week having encounters with giant deer. The lodge atmosphere was 10/10 perfect! I didnt want to leave. On the last night they even had live music and entertainment. I cant say enough how incredible of an operation these guys have going on, and i will be back every single year!
