Dean Billington from Bull Basin offered to bring my son and I back after our first hunt. The first hunt was snow free making it hard to cut a track. This hunt we cut about five tracks. We chased a really great Tom on day 3. He treed about 3/4 way up a mountain in a tall spruce. After a mile hike in which I was exhausted, we finally caught up to the dogs. The cat was ten yards up and pissed off. One of my guides put me in great position to shoot. After the hit, the tree erupted and the cat jumped up about ten feet. In about ten seconds the cat let go and the hunt was complete. He weighted about 155 pounds. Dean has great hounds people. Chad's wife Carly could beat anyone in a snow race too. Lance, my third guide was awesome. I gave him my cat to taxidermy as well. What a great team at BB outfitters. I'll try to post a video for you all to watch. Gary
