I do not recommend this outfitter

lots of elk...lots of wide open country...problem was the elk are crazy wild...unapproachable by pickup to 3/4 mile...country was so open stalking was almost impossible unless the elk had put themselves in a bad spot...I was the 6th elk hunter there so they were never harassed...missed a 350 bull @ 330 yds...got a 290 bull as time was running out...saw hundreds of elk 4 or 5 miles away but no roads...this report IS NOT A COMPLAINT..this hunt is for guys that can walk long and shoot long...add another $825 for 11 years of preference points...you can get a bigger bull for less money in nm Gila...but youll never have the accomodations like q creek
